What's up everybody? Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while, but I appreciate all the love some of you guys and gals have given me despite not posting frequently. Since the last time I've posted, a lot has gone on for me. Mainly me turning 30 a few weeks ago. How did I celebrate that special day? By drinking beer (of course), playing golf, and going to Jamaica. While all that happened, the world unfortunately lost a wrestling legend, Rowdy Roddy Piper. While everyone may not watch wrestling or watched it growing up, he was still one of those names that everyone remembered. If you ever get time, YouTube some videos of him to see how entertaining he was. Unfortunately on the flip side, the image of Hulk Hogan is deteriorating with each new quote that surfaces online. As I kid, I loved Hulk Hogan and I even have one of his "HULK RULES" shirts. However, no matter how mad you may get in life, you can't say the things he said. The best thing to do if the Hulkster crushed your dreams, just stick to watching videos of him wrestling in the 80's.
To stick with the wrestling theme this week, my Beer of the Week is Hop Suplex by Saucony Creek Brewing in Pennsylvania. This beer is a double IPA with a 10% ABV. First off, I have to thank my good friend Olanda Wynn for recommending this beer. While the beer has a strong body thanks to the 6 different varieties of hops, the beer has a dose of honey that makes this an easy IPA to drink. If you live close to a store with good craft beer selections, definitely try to land this beer. To get my score on this beer, follow me on Untapp'd. My username is JocksNHops. Or you can go to my Jocks N' Hops twitter page (@JocksNHops).
Well everyone, that is it for this week. I definitely hope to post again a lot sooner than 4 months from now. Until next time, drink responsibly and ENJOY YOUR BEER!
